➡️ The part of the Earth which is not covered by water is called land.
➡️ It is one of the most important natural resources.
➡️ Out of the total surface area of Earth only 29% is land and the remaining portion is covered by water.
Population Distribution
➡️The term population distribution means the pattern of where people live .Population distribution is not same all over the world. It means in some places many people live whereas in some places very few people live.
➡️The areas where very few people live are called sparsely populated areas .
which have very harsh climate (too cold or too hot ), deserts or thick forests are difficult to live .
e.g :- Greenland, Mongolia ,Siberia etc
➡️On the other hand the areas where many people leave are called densely populated area.
plains and river valleys are very fertile area for agriculture and thus most suited for human population.
e.g :- Northern Plains in India
